ip2host software package provides Resolve IPs to hostnames in web server logs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ip2host
ip2host is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ip2host package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ip2host *
You will get with ip2host package name, version, architecture and description in a table
